MS CRM 2011: How to turn a trace

1) To run a trace go to start>run>type in “regedit”

2) Once registery opened go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>SOFTWARE>Microsoft>MSCRM

3) Change values to 1 for

a) TraceEnabled – this will enable trace logging

b) TraceRefresh – this will log trace in same file and will refresh thanks

Don’t forget to turn off once done

Trace will be logged on under program files and crm (Depends where CRM is hosted i.e. VPC, Local etc.)
